Elevándose a más de treinta metros sobre el suelo del bosque, la copa alberga una amplia variedad de vida silvestre, desde aves e insectos hasta primates y reptiles. La selva se divide en varias capas: el suelo del bosque, el sotobosque, la copa de los árboles y la capa emergente. La copa, que se encuentra debajo de la capa emergente y por encima del sotobosque, captura la mayor parte de la luz solar y la lluvia, convirtiéndola en un hábitat crítico para innumerables especies. After lunch at the community center’s restaurant, an exciting boat excursion is made on the Añangu stream, where monkeys, caimans, and giant otters can be observed. Upon reaching Pañacocha, guests receive an introduction to the area and lunch to enjoy in a canoe or at nearby facilities. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to swim in the lagoon.
